Tolerance: An Expectation

A very polarized issue vehemently discussed by both sides of the political spectrum is this apparent monopoly either side claims to have on the whole concept of tolerance.
People who usually claim their side is more tolerant than the other is more often than not riding off of partisan bias.
Every person has bias, that's just basic fact. To make such claims of a monopoly of tolerance while denying its opinionated nature of said claim shows a very narrow-minded mind set. No side whether Leftist or Rightists, Authoritarian or Libertarian express human qualities on their own. The actions of people should be blamed on people not a certain type of ideology (excluding extreme ones). To see the action of one and go around saying "muh tolerant left or right" are fallacious statements that should not decide how you view a certain someone.
To blame an entire broad side always show a lack of depth you have for certain groups of people. When you blame one person's action on the right, what right do you mean, the Libertarians? the Conservatives? Right Populists?
Same for the left, what left, the Social Democrats? Social Libertarians? Democrat Socialists?
Tolerance is expected of everyone within reason, it should not be ever limited to one side as that promotes polarization and divisions.
We have our differences but we all belong to the same great nation. To be open to the other side and work with each other is the very blood of democracy.

The Neo-Nazi that Loves Israel

Trump has been called many things, Racist, sexist, Bigoted,Stupid, Agent Orange, and many other epithets used to demean him and paint him as the Hitler of the 21st century. However, one attack has stuck more than others, Trump the White Supremacist, Trump the Neo Nazi. Groups like MotherJones have continuously hinted at him being a white supremacist, focusing heavily upon white Supremacist support for him, as well as Neo-Nazi Support of him. The Left has focused on this as if the supporters of someone can show who that Person is. Can the Supporters give a hint of someone's beliefs, Sure, but the fact is Republicans tend to be more patriotic, all studies on this topic show that, Gallup polls, Harvard studies, just to name a few, and love of one's country gets caught up by some in a form of Nationalism. Nationalism is one of the major attributes of White Nationalists, it happens to be in the name, and so the beliefs patriotism and nationalism are related but vastly different and White Nationalism is even more different. Simply being Patriotic does not qualify Trump as a White Nationalist, nor a Neo Nazi. But being Patriotic which is related to nationalism will attract these people. In addition Trump's tougher foreign policy stances attract both patriots and nationalists, Being tough on immigration has many different causes, one cause may be to be tough on Immigration to put Americans first, but another cause may be to halt immigration or slow it merely as an act of Racism, The white nationalists see this through the lens of stopping foreign peoples, Trump sees this as putting Americans first and lowering the damaging effects of large scale illegal immigration.

Constantly Media has subtly alluded to Trump being the new Hitler, and some went as far as to draw connections to Trump being Person of the Year, and Hitler being on the cover in the 1930s, because apparently Time had prophetic powers and knew Trump would come and be the next Hitler, these two covers on Time magazine clearly being some great connection. However, Last time I checked, Hitler was not very Pro-Jew. Trump has been an ardent supporter of Israel and has conveyed clearly that he plans to be the most Pro-Israel president that America has had in quite some time. Israel Agrees, for all the lines being drawn between Hitler and Trump, it would seem silly to leave out the Jewish opinion. The fact is that 92% of Israelis believe Trump will be better for Israel than Obama, and even to go further, Only 4% of Israelis believe that Obama was supportive of Israel, according to a study by TSN, taken by Channel 1. I fail to see the clear picture that shows Trump is a neo-nazi, when he offers support to Israel, and is favored by Israel.

Trump's antics

When the American people elected Donald Trump, they showed us that it's about time we have a president that speaks his mind. I can say quite confidently that Trump does indeed speak, or tweet, whatever is on his mind.
Recently, at a press conference, Trump went ahead and repealed his stance on CNN as being merely "fake news". CNN has officially graduated from Trump university as "Very Fake News", and some people love this, aka Breitbart, but is this correct, or even remotely presidential.
Clearly there is no one way to act presidential, JFk had a way, and Reagan had a way and both were very different, but one thing that has been fairly common is to at least give the pretense of being commonsensical. I hate to break it to everyone but CNN is not "Fake News", have they made mistakes, Yes, but that does jot make them fake. The fact is that CNN is bias, the mere state of being bias doesn't attribute falsity to CNN, for instance just because the two contributors to Right Lens News, Farrah, and Will have extremely differing political views, it would not be fair to call the other fake.
Trump's attempt to paint news sources as fake news when they attack him is wrong. I hate to say it, but MSNBC is not fake news, just extremely biased. To focus on something that forwards your agenda is not being fake news, it is merely being Bias and it would be wrongful to paint that as false news merely because it comes with a certain viewpoint.
I agree with Trump on most of his points, his policies will most likely be a great boon to our economy, and a strong stance on foreign affairs should be adopted by the Superpower of the world. However I don't agree with all of Trump's views on some approaches. Instead of banning people, I believe we should merely affirm that people coming to America are willing to conform and assimilate into our beliefs. America supports women's Rights, gay rights, and religious rights. We must have stringent vetting processes to make sure we are getting people who are willing to agree with those.
In conclusion, I Believe some of Trump's approaches are damaging. Calling people fake news due to them not agreeing and having a bias viewpoint is not even in the realm of logical reasoning, Trump has authoritarian characteristics that worry me, however it would be wrong to call him malicious, he has America's best intentions in mind, he just had a few flaws that the left magnifies with a x20 magnifying glass. Should we have a president who speaks his mind? Yes, but we should have a president who can control his mind as well, If Trump can learn to control himself, he will be a great president.

The Evolution of Trump

To my understanding of our new president, he has certainly evolved and changed his image throughout the decades. This post isn't about “grabbing p****” or his Hollywood theatrics which are plainly baggage. Politicians and high-society figures are arguably above the middle class and can do as they please in respect to their rights and liberties and baggage. For example, if a college football or NFL star beats his girlfriend, and gets charged with battery and what have you, he will be lifted his charges.
Now, Trump was never the neo-con or the modern republicans who were influenced by Reagan and Karl Rove. Those politicians had big money corporations supporting their expenditures, and Trump was in competition with them; naturally they hated Trump. That's why Barbara Bush and “Low Energy Jeb" did not support him through the primaries. President Trump is more left than you might believe. His ideas of a free market economy, where the government does not interfere with private enterprise is on the fundamental libertarian and left side of economics. His trade policies, against the broken TPP and NAFTA. If you argue that the immigration ban is unconstitutional, then you don't know jack about Islam. Comment if you disagree or want to further this point, we can have a civilized discussion on the matter.
During the primary campaigning which seemed “like forever ago”, Trump had an attitude in his campaign. He emphasized taking down ISIS, cutting the trade deficits with China and Mexico, and why our system is the best in the world even though we're not perfect as a country. From the violence at his rallies that were a wide-scale, alt-left movement captured the real Anti-Trump groups as an angry and pissed off generation of people that are uninformed and don't research politics from the inside and out. Sean, another contributor touched on that point in his last post: the alt-left uses moral and ideological dogmas to support nearly their entire views.
The inauguration speech showed a different side of Trump. He seemed polished and confident in his body language, pace, and Christian references which are frankly absent in a time where we need those morals the most of “loving thy neighbor” and etc..I'm really looking forward to seeing Trump in this role as his first term continues.
